Sharon Matthews has an extensive background in international sales, services and customer management. She is a senior executive with a background of demonstrated success building businesses into viable, long-term entities. She is energized by understanding the strategic context in which change initiatives are developed, formulating programmatic strategies and programs that will accelerate the change and growth, and then orchestrating the necessary execution to deliver results.
Known for collaborations that deliver on commitments and exceed corporate and customer expectations, she is a trusted partner who builds sustainable client and partner relationships and a respected leader with proven managerial and interpersonal skills. Sharon is an experienced sales and services practitioner able to see the big picture, synthesize a strategy and deliver on the vision.
Her experience ranges from small startup organizations to large, multinational businesses in a variety of disciplines.
Currently, Sharon holds a position as Operating Partner with Milstein Capital in New York, and concurrently serves as Vice Chair at Government Revenue Solutions in Washington, DC, and Chairman of the Board of City Year San Jose Silicon Valley.
From 2007 – 2016 as President CEO she successfully led eLynx, a Financial Services SaaS company through the worst market contraction in a generation; outperformed competitors, and emerged with an enhanced market position. In 2016 eLynx was sold successfully to Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS), with Sharon at the helm.
As Vice President of Sales Transformation at Solectron from 2002 – 2007, where she became a client of JBK, Sharon was instrumental in re-engineering the sales organization and processes for this large, global organization, increasing the efficiencies of the entire go to market organization.
Sharon has also held senior leadership positions at UCMS and Unisys in Australia, and served a decade of increasingly responsible management roles in sales, marketing, operations, and alliances management with Wang Laboratories, Inc.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Economics from Monash University in Australia, and a certificate from the Executive Management Program at Columbia University.
Sharon is a dual US and Australian citizen residing in Northern California, a wine lover, a culinary enthusiast, a graduate of the International Culinary Institute, and the personal cooking coach for Jack B. Keenan.
