  • Designed and implemented 360-degree assessment instrument for the account management team of a global customer management services company. Within a two-week period, we constructed a competency model for the role, validated the competency set, and implemented the 360-degree assessment with a web-based assessment tool and provided feedback to all 100 account managers.
  • Designed and facilitated a fast-cycle acquisition implementation process for a large aerospace company acquiring a much smaller in-flight entertainment company. Conducted a two day leadership conference to identify and address the integration issues that would ultimately drive the success of the acquisition
  • Designed an enterprise-wide Balanced Scorecard project for a large biotechnology firm. Developed a staged, participative process that resulted in the expression of the company’s newly developed strategy with clearly related, goals, initiatives and both leading and lagging metrics.
  • Designed and implemented a complete e-staff development process for a rapidly growing web infrastructure in Silicon Valley. Based on initial CEO interviews, tailored and implemented a 360-degree evaluation process for the entire e-staff. Implemented coaching engagements for 9 of the 13 members of the e-staff, and conducted a series of strategic capability planning sessions with the CEO.
  • Designed and implemented a high potential sales management assessment program a large networking firm in Silicon Valley. Based on initial executive level interviews, tailored and implemented a 360-degree evaluation process for all sales managers designated for participation in the high potential program. Implemented one-on-one coaching engagements for the most senior sales managers, and conducted a series of strategic development planning sessions with the SVP. As a result of the assessments, the company’s first sales leadership program was initiated in June of 2000.
  • Designed and facilitated the bi-annual strategic planning process with for a small southern California based in-flight entertainment equipment company. Helped to move the company from a single product-driven focus to a more market focused orientation. With a new management team, developed a brand new mission for the company, and new market-driven strategies for both functional area capability and product development activity.
  • Conducted a remote executive development program for the new CEO of a large theme park organization based in the southeastern US. Intervention objectives focused on both organizational and personal growth and development.
  • Designed and implemented an executive coaching intervention for a newly appointed senior vice president of worldwide sales in a rapidly expanding storage software company. Coached the development of global perspective, staff development, and strategic perspective.
  • Consulted on the establishment of a joint venture between a large east coast based manufacturing company and a small entrepreneurial software company based in Silicon Valley. Worked with senior managers to define cultural obstacles and enablers, and conducted a series of joint planning sessions with merger implementation teams. Designed and implemented a communications strategy throughout the two organizations. Served as ex-officio member of the merger team for the next 12 months.
  • Provided Executive Coaching for three members of a highly visible enterprise software company. Focused on improving the interpersonal skills and relationships of all three, as well as helping to develop a strategic planning process for this fast-growth company.
  • Participated as lead facilitator on a process redesign project for a major semiconductor supplier. Brought structure to a team that had been meeting without progress for over four months. In two months, the team produced and validated the order management cycle relationship map, completed process costs, and submitted the management recommendation.
  • Served as lead facilitator on a human resources process re-engineering team for a large Silicon Valley-based database supplier. Defined and delimited the Performance Appraisal process, and conducted detailed benchmarking projects with other high tech and non-high tech companies.
  • Designed and facilitated a process for re-defining the mission and vision for a large theme park organization based in the southeastern US. With both senior and operating management teams, designed, developed, and facilitated a participative process to ensure commitment to the newly formed mission and vision. Developed tools to communicate the new mission and vision throughout the organization.
  • Designed and facilitated a process for developing a mission statement for a Silicon Valley-based database supplier. Brought together global top management team and developed a new sense of organizational intent. As a result, the team discontinued a multi-million dollar development project and conducted a company-wide communications rollout.
  • Designed and facilitated a new process for integrating the top executive management teams of two large New York-based global financial institutions. Following the initiation of a very large merger, developed a process for the four top officers of the two institutions to develop a commonly held vision, mission, and high level strategies for the new institution. Facilitated the merger integration process over a four-month period.
